How much does it cost to issue a power of attorney to a lawyer at a Notary Public? Notary services in Turkey are indispensable for legal transactions to be carried out on a legal basis. Notaries provide a wide range of services, from issuing powers of attorney to approving contracts. Notary attorney fees charged for these services vary depending on the type and scope of the transaction.

Notary attorney fees are based on the tariffs determined by the Notaries Union of Turkey and updated every year. These tariffs were created to ensure the standardization of notary transactions and to increase the transparency of the fees paid by citizens. As of 2025, the average notary fee for a general power of attorney is 1200 TL. The fee for issuing a power of attorney to a lawyer at a notary is also an average of 1200 TL. However, this figure may vary depending on the nature of the power of attorney and higher fees may be charged for more complex transactions.

Notary attorney fees are paid for various transactions such as:

  • General and special powers of attorney
  • Approval of commercial contracts
  • Real estate buying and selling transactions
  • Company establishment and general assembly procedures
  • Issuing an inheritance certificate

Notary attorney fees are paid after the notary process is completed and the payment is made through the invoice issued by the notary. Notary attorney fees are the fees paid for the issuance of powers of attorney used to secure the legal transactions of citizens and protect their material and moral rights, and the correct and timely payment of these fees is of great importance for the legal validity of the transactions.
